Two Men and a Truck — Movers Who Really Care

We just moved locally within Durham, NC. This is the 13th move in our 22 years of marriage (no, we’re not in a witness protection program)! This is also our 5th and 6th move using Two Men and a Truck, and once again we’re very pleased. We had to move out of our condo before our current home was completed, and so had to move into PODS storage (that will be the subject of another post shortly).

Marshall and Darren were again our mover/drivers, having moved us for our 4th, 5th and 6th moves. They were consummate professionals, and were very flexible when PODS was several hours late delivering our storage units. They worked quickly and and efficiently, actually coming in under the estimated total time, yet didn’t damage any of our furniture or belongings. We tipped them 20% of the total bill (so they each got 10%), not only because they did such a good job, but they were also very pleasant to work with, which is always a plus!

People might accuse us of being biased, as we published a case study of Two Men and a Truck, and have become good friends with the founder and the firm’s top officers who are her children (we all went to the same high school in Michigan), but if their franchises didn’t continue to do an excellent job when we are their customers, we’d be sure to tell you that as well. We recommend them wholeheartedly!

  1. I totally agreed!

Someone who is satisfied with their service might not take the time to write a favorable recommendation. However, anyone who feels like he was not getting the right value for his money might blow it out of proportion to others.

Since this company has been around for 20 plus years, it is expected that not evertyone is going to be a happy-go-luck customer. The point being that one needs to see how the company handles complaints and their satisfaction resolution rate.

    Thank you for the post.

    Ali.
